Manu Samoa Junior En Route to Scotland for U20 Trophy 2024


Manu Samoa Junior is gearing up for the World Rugby U20 Trophy 2024 in Edinburgh, Scotland from July 2nd to 17th. This will be Samoa's fifth time participating in the tournament after their qualification win against Tonga in March 2024.

Apia, Samoa – Excitement is building as Manu Samoa Junior prepares to compete in the World Rugby U20 Trophy 2024, set to take place in Edinburgh, Scotland, from July 2nd to 17th. This marks Samoa’s fifth participation in the tournament, following their impressive qualification win against Tonga at the Oceania Rugby U20 Challenger in North Harbour, New Zealand in March 2024.


The team secured their spot in the prestigious competition with a commanding 40-14 victory over their Pacific rivals. This success adds to Samoa’s proud history in the U20 Trophy, having won the title twice before in 2011 and 2016. The young Samoan squad is eager to claim their third championship title and secure promotion to the World Rugby U20 Championship 2025.
